Adult Swim Smalls - "Mayor Mochi” Promo Animation
A promo animation I was commissioned to make for Jared Corwin and Conor Reed’s Adult Swim Smalls series, Mayor Mochi. This video was picked to kick off the marketing campaign for the series.
Characters were sculpted in Adobe Medium and rigged/animated/simulated/rendered in Houdini.
Original character design is by Conor Reed. Original backgrounds are by Conor Reed and Jimmy Nickerson. You can see some of the art I used as reference below. Music is by Michael Byrnes.

I thought it would be nice and heartwarming to end with a shot of brotherly love! Jared asked if I could leave this out of the final cut but I had to make sure it saw the light of day somewhere.
