Hulu & 20th Century Animation - Koala Man

From the brilliant mind of Michael Cusack (YOLO: Crystal Fantasy, Smiling Friends) and starring an incredible cast including Demi Lardner, Sarah Snook, and Hugh Jackman, Koala Man “follows a family father who lives a not-so-secret identity as the titular hero who possesses a burning passion to snuff out petty crime.”

During production, Michael reached out to me and asked if I’d be interested in making an abstract animation for the season finale. The idea was to have a short 3D clip that represented a koala fractal dimension.

In the above clip, the first stop motion animation was done by the very talented Erma Fiend, and the second, abstract 3D animation was done by me using Houdini, MOPs, and Redshift.
